The origin of the program Stabiload goes back to the Eighties with the Ateliers et Chantiers du Havre (ACH). The shipyard was proposing proposing equipments to the ship owners, mostly patented, on ship technology state of art: stabilizer anti-roll, ... Having a IT department to develop its conception tools, the ACH engineers have adapted stability calculation programs into a simple and intuitive loading software.
STABILOAD is an onboard loading software for stability and hull girder resistance calculations. Adaptable to any type of ships, STABILOAD is used to check the stability criteria and hull girder resistance before departure or to train navigators to struggle measures against flooding in case of damage.
Regulation checks are defined by the international agreements of the IMO and the prescriptions of the flag state. They include :
STABILOAD INLAND WATERS is a loading software which rationalize and make secure the container transportation on inland waterways.
Suitable for pushed convoy and self propelled units, The system manages the stowage plans with respect to departure and arrival terminals, container’s characteristics, shift problems, refers location, n° booking, dangerous goods,...)
The software is developed for planning onshore and loading/unloading operation follow up onboard (containers state, stowage plan modification).
The applicable European and Rhine rules are checked in order to cast off with all security conditions validated. The software is producing alerts when a rule criterion is not respected: stability, longitudinal resistance, visibility in front of convoy, dangerous goods.
Besides the naval studies services offered by the group SEGULA, a STABILOAD system set up can include: Audit, rules & regulations analysis, structural analysis to calculate allowable hull girder loads.
